Emma Mckenna

Emma MckennaEmma McKenna is an accomplished film editor, an avid writer and an emerging screen producer. Emma graduated from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School in 2009 as an editor and has seen dozens of screen projects through post-production including 3D short films Dead Boring and Upload. She’s also a passionate writer and has been writing for as long as she can remember.

Emma has lent her pen to many manuscripts, sketches and screenplays, the latest of which is the short film Parrot.

More recently Emma has broadened her filmmaking endeavors into producing. She founded production company Myrtle Street Pictures with creative partner and life partner Craig Foster and produced it’s inaugural short film Parrot which has received the honour of premiering at the Global Atheist Convention in 2012. Emma continues to produce, edit and write with many projects in various stages of production including LGBT film Milk & Vodka by award winning director Tonnette Stanford.
